About me
Alice Oh is a KAIST ICT Endowed Professor in the School of Computing at KAIST and Head of the Global Cooperation Subcommittee of the Presidential Council on National AI Strategy. She received her PhD in Computer Science from MIT in 2008. Her major research area is at the intersection of natural language processing (NLP) and computational social science (CSS), with a recent focus on multi-lingual and multicultural aspects of LLMs. She has served as Tutorial Chair for NeurIPS 2019, and DEI Chair for ICLR 2019 and COLM 2024, Program Chair for ICLR 2021 and NeurIPS 2022, General Chair for ACM FAccT 2022 and NeurIPS 2023.
